Why do you have modules?
All the essential things that every needs to do are available in the core system.
However there are some specialist things (like printing Identity cards) that only some companies want to do. By implementing those sorts of things as modules we are able to keep the system as simple as possible for the majority of users. We are also able to keep the price down.
Some companies may choose to start off by buying a small number of copies of the core system. At a later date they may add more licences as they decide to open certain functions to more people and then decide they want to do something extra (like printing ID Cards). In this situation they may decide to nominate one person to manage the ID Card process and so they may just buy one license for the ID Card Module. Later on they may decide to do appraisals and so they nominate one person to manage the appraisals and so buy one license for the Appraisal Module. Pretty soon they realise how useful the appraisal system is becoming and they may choose to buy more licenses of that particular module.
We are always open to suggestions. If a customer had a suggestion for a particular function and it sounds good to us it is possible that we would choose to implement it as a module.
