Global Updates

What are global updates?

Global updates allow the System Administrator to make changes to a large number of users at the same time. It tends to be used when something has its name changed and you would like to change the records of all those individuals affected.

One example could be if the "Marketing" department changes its name to "Sales and Marketing" or if a Bank or Trades Union changes its name and you want to change the employee records to reflect it.
