Why are some fields flashing on the screen?

The forms within HR Complete have inbuilt intelligence and inform the user of certain information that they may need to be aware of.

In doing this most screens have a Flash bar at the top. This conveys urgent or extraordinary information. This contains text in a large red typeface that flashes on and off at one second intervals. Eg on the Employees Form it displays the Employee status – for most records this will do nothing but for certain individuals it may display a status such as “Suspended with pay” etc.

In the Diary Event form the due date field will flash in red text for diary events in the past or if the event is due today. If the event is due in the future the text will not flash and will appear as normal.
