What is encryption?
Encryption and decryption is the process of making date secure from unauthorised eyes. It is similar to the idea of scrambling and unscrambling telephone messages. All data stored in HR Complete is stored in a secure encrypted form. If the data is viewed using a tool other that HR Complete then it will look like gobbledegook.
The intention of having your data encrypted is to prevent unauthorised users from “hacking” into your data.
